Regional development in Belarus was a new topic of the meetings of experts, journalists, and government representatives under the project Open Dialogue.

Aleh Mazol made a presentation “International Experience of Lagged Regions” where he talked about lessons of regional development of different countries.

Alexander Chubrik talked about the current situation in Belarusian regions in his presentation“Country Where it’s Good to Live and Work, or Why Do We Need New Regional Policy”. The main topic of his presentation was the movement of human resources from regions to the capital and the possible consequences of this trend.
