Review of Initiatives to Tackle Climate Change

The policy paper analyses the current climate change agenda and reviews the role of key international organizations in its formation. The paper presents the results of assessing the effectiveness of climate legislation implementation, provides the review of individual governments' actions to tackle climate change, including the United Kingdom, Japan, China, and other countries. Particular attention is given to the study of such instruments for regulating greenhouse gas emissions as the Emissions Trading System and carbon tax.
