Cryptocurrencies: main risks and specifics of regulation

This paper provides a brief overview of the risks faced by cryptocurrency market participants, analyzes initiatives of crypto-asset market regulation,
based on which two approaches are distinguished. The focus is on the cryptocurrency market regulation as an important component of the cryptoassets market. The article also reveals the problem of mining’s ecologization, studies the main trends of the cryptocurrency market, primarily
in EEC, and provides measures for further regulation improvement of the crypto market in Belarus.
