The influence of cryptocurrencies on financial markets and the economy has increased in recent year. Countries and international organizations started to develop and introduce special regulations. In addition, more and more innovative projects are being implemented to introduce central bank digital currencies (CBDCs). The most discussed examples in this area are Russia and China.
