The Second Student School

The Second Student School in Modern Economics and Economic Research took place in Minsk on January 21-30, 2013.

The participants were introduced to the courses in microeconomics, macroeconomics, and econometrics. Among the lectures there were BEROC economists who had obtained PhD both from leading Belarusian universities and abroad, as well as a visiting professor Alexander Kovzik, University of Wisconsin – Oshkosh, USA.

Working language of the school was English.

Participation in the Student School was free of charge. Moreover, BEROC in cooperation with the British Embassy Minsk provided a number of full and partial scholarships for students from regional Belarusian universities covering (fully or partially) travel expenses to and from Minsk and accommodation in Minsk.

Twenty eight students took part in the School.
