Student School
The First Student School
On July, 4-16 2011 the Belarusian Economic Research and Outreach Center (BEROC) organized the First Student School in Modern Economics and Economic Research in Pinsk in co-operation with the Educational establishment “Polessky State University”.
The participants were introduced to the courses on microeconomics, macroeconomics, econometrics, financial economics and research methods in economics. Among the lectures there were BEROC economists with PhD obtained from leading Belarusian and Western universities.

The working languages of the school were English and Russian.
BEROC provided 5 full and 6 partial scholarships for students not living in Minsk. Totally 35 participants attended the school.
