Laboratory of Economic Journalism
BEROC starts a new project – Laboratory of Economic Journalism.
The Laboratory aims to enhance the knowledge of journalists in the field of economics, as well as to develop necessary skills to apply the acquired knowledge in practice.
Participants will listen to lectures on macroeconomics, finance, budget, social policy and economics of enterprise from leading BEROC economists. The program includes workshops by editors and journalists from prominent media who will introduce the intricacies of collecting, processing and presenting information, including working with data, fact-checking, building network of contacts, formats and genres of modern journalism.
Lectures and workshops will start in April in ZOOM. After that participants will have an opportunity to apply their knowledge in media practically.
At the final stage of the Laboratory, in September 2021, participants will present the results of their practice and group projects.
