Laboratory of Economic Journalism
First Graduates of the Laboratory of Economic Journalism
In October 2021, the first graduates got certificates of BEROC (Kyiv) Laboratory of Economic Journalism which aimed to deepen journalists' knowledge in economics and help them gain practical skills.
During the first part of the Laboratory, participants were lectured in macroeconomics, finance, budget, social policy, enterprise economics, etc. by leading BEROC (Kyiv) economists. Also, they participated in master classes by editors and journalists of prominent media on data journalism, fact-checking, networking, formats and genres of modern journalism.
In the second part of the project participants trained their new skills performing practical assignments supported by mentors. They prepared in-depth economic articles which were published on our partner media outlet Thinktanks.by. The articles are available only in Russian.
