Central Bank Digital Currency (CBDC): What, Why and How?

Seminar was organized with the purpose to present the technology of central bank digital currencies. During the event, participants learned the advantages and disadvantages of digital currencies, got understanding about their distinctive characteristics, and studied the international experience of CBDC implementation.

The event was attended by the representatives of the National Bank, commercial banks, non-bank financial institutions, the Belarusian Interbank Settlement Center, the Banking and Financial Television Network, Fintech-Accelerator FTh, and others.
