Webinar “What can and should central banks do during the period of the coronacrisis?”

BEROC and the Center for New Ideas have launched a series of webinars about the current changes in the regional and global economy.

The speakers of the first meeting held on June 4 were Dmytro Sologub, deputy head of the National Bank of Ukraine, and Dzmitry Kruk, research associate at BEROC.

They discussed the problems of monetary policy in emerging markets and the challenges central banks faced during the coronavirus pandemic.
