Workshop for Journalists "Belarusian Business Before, During and After the Pandemic"

The results of the national polls of Belarusian business and perspectives on the economic situation were discussed during the online meeting of experts and journalists within the project Open Dialogue on Economic Reforms.

The meeting on the topic "Belarusian Business Before, During and After the Pandemic" was held on May 6. The IPM Research Center was the partner of this event.

Igor Pelipas, the Head of the Supervisory Board of the IPM Research Center, presented the results of the SME poll organized at the beginning of the 2020 and gave the essence of the condition of the enterprises on the threshold of the crisis.

Radzivon Marozau, BEROC Research Associate, presented the results of the SME representative poll organized in April 2020. He analyzed the main problems which Belarusian enterprises face, possible measures to support them and optimal strategies for enterprises.

In the discussion, experts and journalists were talking about the perspectives of the Belarusian economy and business. The total number of the participants was 38 people, including media and thinktanks representatives.
