There were also formulated proposals for implementation of green economy principles in Belarus.
The results of the conference were summarized by Natalia Apanasovich, head of green economy project at BEROC. She mentioned that movement towards the green economy has been advocated and supported in Belarus by main stakeholders, including government, NGOs, and business. However, there is limited research and analytics on this matter. In addition, there is a significant gap in public awareness about the current state of affairs and relevant opportunities that would stimulate enterprises in implementing principles of green and circular economy.
