A round-table discussion “Cross-Sectoral Measures to Support Women in the Labor Market: Situation in Belarus, Experience of Sweden and Poland” was held in Minsk on October 11, 2019. The round-table was arranged by BEROC and the International Public Association “Gender Perspectives” under the initiative of the partner group for sustainable development that works on the Action Plan of the Council on Sustainable Development for 2019-2020.
Representatives of government agencies, public and international organizations, and the academic community discussed the issues of women's participation in the labour market in Belarus, the actions that can be taken to facilitate women's involvement in business, and learned the international experience of Poland and Sweden.
