On September 28, 2009 г. the Belarusian Economic Research and Outreach Center organized the first Conference of young economists.

Round Table “World Economic Crisis and Belarus” was held in the conference hall of the hotel “Victoria” in Minsk on August 14, 2009. Professor Aleh Tsyvinski (Yale University, USA) made a presentation.

Director of IHS EViews Gareth Thomas held a seminar in Minsk on February 26 on "Macroeconomic forecasting based on regime switching models and mixed frequency data in EViews".
