Humanizing Business

The paper analyzes the situation in business humanizing in some Eastern European and Baltic countries. Transformation of the state's role as the main social guarantor has increased the importance of business social programs. The paper analyses for-profit enterprises that adopt different types of social programs and benefits to their employees. At the same time an important role of social entrepreneurship  in economic relationships is underlined. The paper describes what social entrepreneurship means as well as describes some examples, types of social enterprises,  their regulations as well as  main barriers for social enterprises development in the region.
