Unemployment insurance as a tool of social protection

The problem of rising unemployment is becoming more severe in the context of dynamic labor market. At that formation of the adequate system of social protection and insurance as a support instrument of the unemployed population becomes one of the burning issues for the economy. This paper analyzes the international experience of functioning unemployment insurance systems and possibility of their application in Belarus.
