Implementation of the principle of gender equality in corporate governance: experience of the Republic of Belarus

This paper is devoted to the study of the concept of responsible investment and the assessment of gender balance in the corporate governance of state-owned companies in Belarus. We present the financial profile of the studied companies, assess their economic condition, and perform regression and correlation analysis of the impact of gender balance on their financial indicators. The results show an increase in the influence of gender balance on financial indicators in the case when women occupy important positions in the top management of companies in terms of influence on managerial decision-making.
