In 2025, most global changes may bring negative consequences for Belarus, which will also overlap with domestic economic problems. This increases the likelihood of the economic situation in Belarus developing in unfavorable scenarios. The inertial scenario of a “soft landing” can only be supported by a more willing – in light of the changes taking place in the world – drawing Minsk un-der its protectorate by China, as the current regime wants.
