Seminar “Formation of the Swedish stock market” by Joakim Strid
On November 27, 2019, Belarusian Economic Research and Outreach Center in cooperation with the IPM Business School held a practical seminar: “Formation of the Swedish stock market”. Mr. Joakim Strid, the head and owner of FinCom AB (Sweden), was kindly invited to deliver a presentation. In addition to working in the private sector, Mr. Strid is a member of the Swedish Stock Market Council, a member of the Discipline Committee of Nasdaq Sweden, and was head of the European Market Supervision Division of Nasdaq Sweden for more than 10 years. He also was also a member of the Corporate committee of Nasdaq Sweden.

- Overview of capital market regulation in Sweden

More than 40 participants took part in the event. Among them are representatives of the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Belarus, the Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Belarus, the National Bank of the Republic of Belarus, OJSC “Belarusian Currency and Stock Exchange”, the Central Securities Depository, a number of commercial banks and research institutes.
